The Office of Conflict Resolution at Denison University is a national leader in collegiate conflict resolution. Denison University employs a spectrum model of conflict resolution that uniquely includes formal and informal methods of resolution, robust education and outreach to promote peaceful resolution and skills building, and an emphasis on community and dialogue.
The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center of Bluffton University promotes the study of peace and justice, cultural understanding and nonviolent responses to conflict. The center includes a library collection, a gallery of visual art and sculptures and a program center, as well as an Outdoor Sculpture Garden. Interactive programs are customized to address broad themes of peace and are offered both on and off campus for audiences of all ages including students in elementary through high school and college, as well as adults.
Xavier’s Peace and Justice Studies minor is a fifteen hour interdisciplinary program compatible with any undergraduate major. The focus of Xavier’s program is broad, examining a wide array of contemporary social justice and ecological issues along with topics of war and nonviolence. Attention is devoted also to the role that practices such as mindfulness and meditation can play in work for a more just and peaceful world.

The Judith Herb College of Education at The University of Toledo offers an undergraduate interdisciplinary Minor in Peace Studies and an online Graduate Certificate Program in the Foundations of Peace Education. War and Peace Studies at the Center for International Studies allows students to explore the field of security studies from an interdisciplinary perspective…Our program introduces students to the fields of peace and security studies through one-on-one advising, intensive language training and education abroad.
The Peace and Conflict Studies Minor at BGSU has 3 core classes, 3 electives, and a field experience. One option for the field experience is travel to Hiroshima, Japan where we attend the annual August 6 ceremonies, live with host families, and partner with students from Hiroshima Jogaquin University to explore issues related to Peace…The program prepares students for careers in nonprofits, government, advocacy, international affairs, or further education in graduate/professional schools.
Students in Baldwin Wallace University’s Peace Corps Prep Program build hands-on experience and leadership skills while completing courses focused on intercultural competence, work sector skills and foreign language. Upon completion of the program students will receive a signed certificate of completion from the Peace Corps.
